"PARALLEL" is a journey into an alternate reality; the dream-like spaces of the mind, even the dark nightmarish ones. This tale will be told through aerial and modern dance, contortion, and a set chock full of interesting props and built apparatus along with some live musicians wielding some not-so-ordinary instruments.

Class will include a guided warm-up, moving across the floor, and a center combination. Wear something comfortable and be ready to move! Class is all-levels.

CONTACT! 2.0 is a class that builds on the concepts introduced in CONTACT! Students will continue to use the power of the body and the electricity of touch to create dynamic storytelling and find confidence as performers

EXCAVATE class with Jacqui Hinkson

Class will include: a guided warm up to build internal heat and get grounded in our bodies and breath, material building exercises and phrase work, and improvisational prompts and scores. Class will differ week to week and feature ideas fueling EXCAVATE’s current research and process.

This class is a practice in performing together spontaneously. An exercise in listening, responding, and deepening. Dancers will be guided through improvisational scores that will challenge their own movement patterns. Further, we will rigorously practice making ensemble dances in real time. All are welcome to attend.
